CPD Programmes
As in most professions, engaging with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) helps you stay up to date, competent, professional, capable and resilient as an architect, and also enables you to learn new skills and specialisms.
Westwind Oak runs CPD programmes aimed at architects and engineers where you will learn all about green oak timber framing. We offer a hands-on approach where you’ll spend time with Rupert Newman and also with our in-house designers and master craftspeople in the workshop.
Rupert has a special interest in promoting the traditional skills of green oak timber framing and passing on the knowledge of structural design of timber frames. He has even taken a couple of sabbaticals to teach timber framing at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden.
